Discovery Consultation

Meet with our team to discuss your project, learn about our building process, receive your Homeowner Selection Packet, and begin developing the roadmap for your new home.

Step 03

Preliminary Budget Review

While you begin exploring financing options, our team evaluates your plans and develops a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) budget so you understand the anticipated investment before moving into Phase 1.

Step 04

Move Into Phase 1

Review your preliminary budget, discuss financing with your lender, and authorize B&E to begin detailed budgeting and project development.

Step 05

Building Your Project Together

This is where your project truly begins to take shape. While you finalize design selections and ask questions, our team develops your detailed construction budget, coordinates engineering, obtains supplier pricing, schedules trade partners, and builds your complete Project Binder.

Step 06

Final Budget & Project Review

We'll meet to review your complete project together—including your detailed budget, specifications, construction schedule, financing package, and Project Binder. Once approved, we'll move into the construction phase.

Step 07

Preparing for Construction

While you prepare for the exciting journey ahead, our team coordinates permitting, engineering, scheduling, material procurement, and every detail needed before construction begins.

Step 08

Breaking Ground

Construction officially begins! As excavation, foundations, and framing get underway, your Project Manager keeps you informed with regular communication and progress updates.

Step 09

Vision Walkthrough

Experience your home's layout for the first time. Together we'll walk through the framed home, review room layouts, windows, electrical locations, and answer questions before the walls are enclosed.

Step 10

Building the Home

While you watch your vision come to life, our team completes roofing, weatherproofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, insulation, and drywall—preparing your home for the finishing stages.

Step 11

Interior Progress Review

Walk through your home after drywall is complete and before finishes begin. This is an exciting opportunity to see your home's interior spaces fully defined.

Step 12

Bringing Your Design to Life

Cabinetry, flooring, paint, tile, countertops, trim, lighting, and custom finishes are installed as your home begins looking exactly the way you imagined.

Step 13

Design & Craftsmanship Review

Tour your nearly completed home with your Project Manager to review the craftsmanship, finishes, and final details before we prepare for move-in.

Project Completion

Step 14

Final Quality Assurance

Before your home is turned over, our team completes detailed inspections, punch list items, professional cleaning, and final quality checks to ensure every detail meets our standards.

Step 15

Welcome Home

Celebrate the completion of your custom home with a final orientation, warranty review, Project Binder handoff, and key presentation. While construction is complete, our commitment to you is just beginning.
